Jane started Kindgergrow this week! She likes it so far! She was so cute laying out her outfit and packing her lunch like the big kids :-) She is super tired and cranky when she gets home though. In fact, she sat down in the middle of the driveway and cried after getting off the bus one day. Eliza told me and I ran out to carry her in. Poor little baby is worn out :-)

Monday we had a horrible dinner with Kaleb dropping a glass cup and cutting his hand open trying to catch it and then Jane stepping on glass and screaming as blood is dripping from her foot and then Eliza trying to help Isaac stop fussing by playing peek-a-boo under his highchair and accidentally knocking the tray off and it smacked her in the face and gave her a bloody lip and teeth bleeding. Pretty much everyone was crying and Braydan was grumpy cause he didn't eat all day and he still couldn't eat because we were busy vacuuming glass up and bandaging bloody children!!!!
Tuesday was busy making Valentine boxes (because we waited until the last night). Jane wanted a bday cake box and Kaleb did a gross skeleton head valentine box :-(

We also were busy making slime in mass quantities to give for valentines.

Their card said, "Will you be my valenslime?" :-) Earlier in the day, I was excited to visit Kaleb's class for his bday. He was so embarrassed about all the attention. He had to stand in the front and get asked 11 questions. Poor kid. His face was red and he paced side to side, but he was still adorable of course :-) i brought ice cream bars because I couldn't afford to buy cupcakes for 40 kids! I think they were happy with them. I watched them play 4 corners a few rounds and then said Isaac and I could win. And we did win! The class thought it was hilarious and kept asking me how I won the first time i played :-) Maybe I might be smarter than a 5th grader :-) I tried to walk over to Kaleb's desk at one point, but I could tell that was too close and embarrassing for him, so I backed away and observed from the back. LOL!
All week we made love poems for each other for our family mailbox.

It takes me a few days to get into it, but by the end of the week, I love it! The kids race to check the mailbox every day and the girls make piles of notes.

Kaleb not so much, but he did manage to write a few nice cards:-)
I started reading Narnia to help him get into it. It's been fun to talk about it and hear him getting excited about what's going to happen. Eliza finished Fablehaven series and before I could get her more books, she decided to read Harry Potter again! She read the 1st one in a day. And the 2nd one in 2 days! She's almost done with the 3rd. Crazy.
Thursday was the magic theme blue and gold banquet. Kaleb didn't really want to go because he's 11 now (and too cool), but his leaders had awards for him and he missed last pack being sick. We were to design a cake together so we had fun making a kit/kat and M&M archery cake for the competition.
Ours was the coolest! Kaleb was worried I wouldn't get his arrow back from the cake, but I did :-) I can't believe Kaleb is done with cubscouts. : (
Friday the kids had no school! Yay! Cassie took the girls for Mickayla's bday to a movie, lunch, and cupcake shop.

They loved it and ate tons of junk! (they both had sick tummies later that day) I took the boys (daniel and Kaleb) to get pizza and the library. I had a bunch of free book-it coupons and the boys at 4 pizzas! They were so cute huddled together looking at gun and sword books they checked out at the library :-) They also played the shark game on their kindles together, made wooden swords, played Frisbee, and played bball.

Saturday we cleaned the church and asked if Jacob and Rachel could come play. Jane has been begging for her to come and she finally could! Jane asked Eliza if she was sad that she didn't have a friend over. Eliza laughed and said no. She was finally free to read and draw and not have anyone bugging her to come play, come play (except for Isaac!)
Braydan worked on the bathroom, but Isaac's naps kept interupting him, so he finally went and tilled th garden instead :-)
Saturday night, we decided to swap babysitting with the Martinez family. At first I didn't want to, but then I thought about the temple and how we haven't got to go together because one of us always stays with Isaac. So, we tried it out, watching all 5 of their kids! And it went fine! Even baby Ellen who they said is really fussy, was perfect. She played, ate, and slept. I don't think the kids liked my healthy dinner, but they ate it anyway when I said they could have a cookie :-)
Braydan finally got released today as ward mission leader! He's excited to be the new 11 year old scout leader. I'm excited he won't have tons of meetings and can be with Kaleb and help the boys. They are kinda wild: Nixon, Brock, Ryan, Blythe, Kaleb, Braedon, and Jacob :-)
Plus...he has this little guy!
