Alisha is inspiring me with her cute weekly blog! I will try and start blogging again....
This week was quiet! Braydan took the kids to Salt Lake for Kaleb's tournament while I stayed home with Isaac babe. I probably should've gone with them....but it was a glorious break from cooking and just normal routine! I got some projects done, caught up on my calling, went out to lunch with Tara, grocery shopping with only one child instead of 4, a few naps, and just a chance to think and plan in peace! Meanwhile, Braydan left Jane with Alisha to play with Melissa. He took Kaleb and Eliza to Lagoon the first day and they had a blast. Eliza loved Cannibal, which looks like the craziest ride ever! Chase was even too scared to do it. The second day, Braydan took Eliza to Sym's to play with her girls. She got to make a name plaque out of nails and string (right up her alley!) She loved playing with cousins all day

Kaleb lost both soccer games that day. Saturday Eliza spent time with Melissa and Jane while Kaleb had one more game (they actually won). I told Braydan to take tons of pictures during the trip and he took.....wait for it..... 4. 4 pictures! Good thing the kids are talented at relating every detail of every day.
Earlier in the week, we braved Roaring Springs!

I didn't take a single picture because I was busy the entire time making sure no one drowned, got lost, and Isaac didn't cook in the 100 degree heat! It was a stressful day for me, but very fun for kaleb and Eliza. Kaleb ran off with Brock/Mack/Jacob and did every scary waterslide. Eliza had a little friend that was more timid and limited Eliza's daredevil side. I kept telling her to go with the boys on a few if she wanted, but she was nice and never left her friend. Jane had an OK time, but she remembered last year when I didn't have a baby and I could take her on everything with me. Poor girl. Luckily Sheri watched Isaac a few times so I could get in the little pool with her and take her on the lazy river. Isaac was in a heat-sleep-comma! Maybe I should keep my house at 95 to have a more relaxed babe :)

The kids have invited lots of friends over this summer. We are getting more bold the longer we live here. I think we've invited more non-mormon friends than mormon friends. This week Kaleb worked on an airsoft fort in the forest with Brock/Mack/Jacob. Then they ran to the pond and tried to look for frogs.

I've felt prompted to memorize the Living Christ for a while now. I finally made a goal to do it this summer. When I started, I thought I would be lucky to finish it by the end of the year. But, surprisingly, I'm already done! During my walks, I practiced over and over and finally got the whole thing. The best part is knowing beautiful language to describe the Savior. It really is a beautifully written document.
Isaac is the cutest little babe. He likes to snort loud when he's mad. He found his fists and likes to shove as much as he can in his mouth. His tummy hurts after every feeding and it takes some work to get him to burp and feel better. But once he finally does, he is all smiles and started "talking" a lot this week. I got out baby pictures of Jane and he doesn't look like her or Eliza. I need to look at Kaleb's now, but I think he has his own look.
Best part of the week: Family being away and family coming home :-) Kaleb said he missed me singing "The Africa Song" Ha, ha. Every time he complains about my dinners or doesn't like certain things, I sing Shakira's africa song and joke that he's going to get called to Africa on his mission and he'll never complain about anything again! Ha.
