His favorite color is pink. He wants to be an astronaut when he grows up. He wants to be a parrot for Halloween. He said his favorite thing to play with is knights, which I find odd since he has none. Then they colored a picture of their family. In Kaleb's house, Braydan, Kaleb, and I are all inside, then there's this blob on the outside. I asked who that was and he said, "Eliza."
What a funny boy. Today during devotional, he was losing it because he couldn't find his collie dog. We looked everywhere and it was almost time to go to school. Finally I told him to say a prayer. He knelt down and asked for help. During his prayer I knew we should go check under the couch cushions. Sure enough, we found collie! He was more excited about Heavenly Father answering his prayer than about finding his dog. He kept asking me how Heavenly Father knew where he was.
Eliza has been asking good questions too. Today she said, "After I die are you gonna hold me in heaven?" And often times when she gets hurt she says, "I want Jesus to hold me."
Kaleb was in tears one night because he was asking about death and I said, "you don't need to worry about that until you're old and have gray hair." Well, he burst in to tears and said, "I don't want to have gray hair! I want white hair!"
One of the best parts of being a Mom is hearing their questions about life. They see things in a whole new angle. For instance, one morning I was nagging Kaleb to do his chores and he finally said, "Mom, why don't you have a big smile like the missionaries?" I wanted to say, "because I have to deal with you all the time" but I didn't.
